Had a blast at Powerhouse last night for the count down . We reached the queue and it was so damn long, members, re-entry and even guest list, so you could imagine the public queue is almost a fainting sight . We entered at around 10pm plus and the staff lead us to our table and gosh, i think it's the worse table in the entire club . A small pathetic table in the corner of the upper deck, just above the lockers' room . For a group of 10 or more to share that space is just sad for new year's eve . So then Koh Jin and guys were negotiating what bottles to get and then he found another table, this time a good spot . =)
We passed him our share of cash and he ordered a 3 litres Martell da pao for the group . We waited and waited and the bottle only came at 11.30pm, not including enough glasses for us all . So half the group drank first and the other half of the group waited for more glasses . Cheers and all and countdown starts, for the last 20 seconds, i texted my husband to say happy new year and missed the entire pop-that-party-popper session, so i popped mine late .
Went on and on and the entire bottle of Martell finished at 3.30am i think . Pretty fast though, pukes here and there . . . people falling down like so many times . Haha .
But all in all, it was a nice night . Reached home around 5am plus 6, showered and cooked myself a packet of instant noodles because i was really hungry and head off to bed . I'm awake at 11am plus because i was coughing so hard i thought i couldn't sleep so i might as well get up .
